Pay Rate: $25.00/hour, non-exempt

Essential Job Skills:

  • Clean MVR at hire and annual recheck — required. Position is conditioned on insurability under the company's commercial auto policy.
  • Texas non-commercial Class B driver's license (or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of hire), required to legally operate Class A motorhomes over 26,001 lbs GVWR.
  • Forklift experience required — OSHA-compliant forklift certification at hire, or willingness to obtain (employer-provided) within the first 30 days.
  • Comfortable in MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and cloud-based software generally; competent two-handed typing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, finish tasks, and document what you did.
  • Comfortable around customers, vendors, and shop technicians.
  • CDL Class A, familiarity with Fullbay shop software, and familiarity with QuickBooks Online are all helpful but not required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lot moves & bay staging — moving Class A/B/C drivables in and out of bays; moving 5th wheels and travel trailers with the forklift; staging the next RV by tech assignment as the Service Manager directs.
  • Inbound receiving — checking in parts and supplies; matching packing slips to POs; recording receipts cleanly so A/P stays accurate.
  • Service Parts staging — pulling labeled totes for tech-assigned Service Orders, delivering to bays, and tracking part movement back into inventory if not used.
  • Service check-in — the 6-step Fullbay intake on arriving RVs: VINs, serial numbers, photos, mileage, generator hours.
  • Shop supplies replenishment — operating the Arda.Cards Kanban system, flipping/queueing cards as bins empty so reorders trigger on time.
  • Rental check-out & check-in — customer-facing rental moments, including paperwork, walk-arounds, and inspections.
  • Custodial coordination — scheduling custodians for completed-service-RV cleaning and rental-return cleaning.
  • Open/Close support — backing up the Service Manager (VP-Ops) on the opening lineup and closing wrap.

Convenience RV is hiring a Service Operations Lead to be the connective tissue between our service bays, our lot, our parts area, and our shipping dock. You’ll keep the right RVs moving to the right techs at the right time — and as we grow, you’ll be first in line to lead the porter team you help build.

The person who succeeds in this role is organized but not rigid, calm in motion, comfortable around customers and equipment, and good at finishing what they start. This isn’t a sit-at-the-desk job — it’s a build-the-system, run-the-floor, own-the-flow job. If you like a laptop and a tablet and a steering wheel and a forklift seat, this is your role.
