Pay Rate: $55,000 - $65,000/year

Essential Job Skills:

  • A dependable, verifiable attendance record is required. This role runs on reliability — technicians and customers depend on parts being where they're supposed to be, when they're supposed to be there.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in RV, marine, heavy-truck, or powersports parts/service (RV industry experience preferred).
  • Comfortable in MS Office 365 and cloud-based software; minimum 50 WPM typing.
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Self-starter who works productively with minimal supervision and communicates immediately when priorities or timelines shift.
  • Comfortable handling a high volume of vendor and customer calls, including the occasional tough conversation.
  • Familiarity with Fullbay shop software and QuickBooks Online helpful but not required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Source, price, and order parts for Repair Orders — matching the right part to the right RO, at the right price, on a timeline techs can plan around.
  • Place outbound calls to vendors to track down and expedite parts; proactively call customers with status updates rather than waiting for them to call you.
  • Place and manage purchase orders, and follow up with vendors to keep delivery on schedule.
  • Set and maintain min/max stocking levels; keep the parts shelves organized, labeled, and replenished.
  • Match vendor invoices to POs and receipts so supplier account statements stay accurate and current.
  • Upsell parts and accessories to customers when the opportunity is there.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the Service Parts and Shop Supplies areas.
  • Support the Service Manager with additional duties as needed.

Convenience RV in Willis, TX is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Service Parts Buyer to keep our service department running. You’ll source, price, and order the right parts for every Repair Order, keep vendors and customers updated, and make sure our technicians never have to wait on you for what they need to finish a job.

This is a trust-based role — technicians and customers are counting on parts being where they’re supposed to be, when they’re supposed to be there. We’re a small, fast-growing team without layers of backup, so we need someone dependable who shows up on time every day and communicates immediately if something changes.
